Tavira
The Tavira holiday rental about 2 minutes walk from the center of Tavira as well as access to local beaches and local amenities.

In the center of Tavira you will find a diversity of history and heritage, where you can visit more than 30 churches, the castle, walk along the river Gilão and try the fresh fish restaurants. There are street markets, fairs of typical products and antiques, and in the summer there are several shows. the perfect location for your algarve holiday rental.

Beaches

You can take the ferry to the famous island of Tavira, near the city center or from Quatro Aguas. Enjoy the beach of Barril which 10 minutes by car. Around Tavira you can still find the beaches of Forte da Barra, Fuseta, Cacela Velha, Cabanas de Tavira and Manta Rota. A walk along the Ria Formosa and Cacela Velha are unique scenarios in the region.

• Ilha da Tavira – long beach, with about 700 meters of white sand and water at a very pleasant temperature;

• Barril – it is even more extensive, with very frequented areas and others that are quieter. It has good tourist equipment, adapted from an old tuna factory.

• Cabanas – a beach with good tourist support, relatively quiet. The Fort of São João da Barra marks the entrance to the small port.

• Conceição – opposite the village of the same name, it is an extensive, quiet and isolated beach. In the village, the Igreja Matriz, in the Gothic style, is worth a visit.

Golf

There are four excellent 18 hole golf courses within minutes of our home.

• Benamor – Very close to our house, this new course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and is located in an area of ​​the Algarve that until recently did not have any infrastructure for the practice of golf.

• Colina Verde – The 9-hole PAR 3 Golf Course is designed not only for beginners, but also for those who wish to “fine tune” their short game, or just to relax in a pleasant place.
